Drive an EV?
We need your range

Log a real journey: miles driven, battery at the start and battery at the end. Nothing suitable to hand? On your next drive, note those three numbers and come back once you have used at least 15% battery.

Own an EV? Add your journeys.

One journey helps. A few good journeys in different weather, with different loads or on different roads give other drivers a much better picture. We use actual distance and displayed battery change — not the car's predicted range.

While owner data grows

Closest to the official range

100% is a perfect match. Cars are ranked by how close they are to 100%, whether they fall above or below it. For now this preview uses outside range figures; owner rankings take over automatically as enough drivers contribute.

How a contribution works

Three things we need

1

Choose the car

Pick the closest exact model, variant and year.

2

Enter miles and battery used

Distance, start percentage and finish percentage.

3

We do the maths

We estimate the full-battery equivalent from actual miles and displayed battery change — not the car's predicted range — and hold unusually extreme results for a quick check.
